Built: 1921  Declared: 07/08/2005

Franklin T. Briles Residence was designed in 1921 by Charles Hyde, who was a draftsman in the office of architect Ross Montgomery. The structure is of a Prairie-style design with Mediterranean detailing. Franklin T. Briles owned and operated an agricultural tractor company from 1903 until the mid 1930s. The house is truly the showpiece of the Ambassador Hill neighborhood in which it resides.
