This steep-pitched Craftsman house attributed to architect Paul Van Trees was built in 1904 for real estate businessman W. F. Poor. His partner, Sanford Wing, constructed a home nearby. Poor and Wing was an important real estate firm in the Highland Park community of Los Angeles at the time.
